●Fabricated seat bases utilizing 1/2" think plastic or 1/2" and 5/8" treated plywood provide superior strength, better ventilation, and larger amounts of storage area. All bases have integrated 1/2" plastic floor shims.

A Word on Wood Bases:
Our wood bases are fabricated using 1/2" and 5/8" thick pressure treated and kiln dried marine plywood that carries a lifetime warranty against rot, fungal decay, and insect damage. In addition to being less expensive than plastic, plywood bases are structurally superior and typically far outlast the seat foam and vinyl. This is the same type of plywood that is being used for the flooring on new pontoon boats. In addition, we shim all our bases off the floor with 1/2" thick plastic so the wood does not sit on the carpet. We have used this product for many years and strongly recommend it.
